Michael Taylor

Director of Business Development and Senior Project Manager

Michael Taylor is the director of business development LandSouth Construction. Taylor has more than 20 years experience in the real estate and construction industries as an executive leader, project manager and division vice president. In his role at LandSouth Construction, Taylor oversees new business development and strategies, marketing, public relations and the day-to-day operations of human resource department.

 

Prior to joining LandSouth Construction, Taylor worked with several prestigious developers and homebuilders in Georgia and Florida including Hines, McCar Homes Inc., John Wieland Homes and Rubloff, Inc.,  Throughout his career, Taylor has managed multiple real estate projects and transactions totaling over $750 million in value.  Taylor was an integral part of the Hines development team at Palencia, a 1,450-acre master-planned golf course community in St. Augustine, Florida. Recently, Taylor was a vice president for a regional homebuilder for the Atlanta and Jacksonville divisions with over $100 million in annual sales volume.

 

Taylor received his bachelor's degree in marketing from Indiana University. He is a licensed certified general contractor in Florida and Georgia and has a real estate license in Georgia. Taylor is the recipient of the celebrated John Wieland Homes President's Club Award and has served as a board member of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) since 1998. He served as the local Sales and Marketing (SMC) chairman for NEFBA in 2005, the same year the chapter was nationally recognized as Best Sales and Marketing Council in the United States.
