LEED® CERTIFICATION FOR THREE TEAM MEMBERS
JACKSONVILLE, Florida – LandSouth Construction, a
Jacksonville-based general contractor, announces three of its team members were
recently certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as LEED® Accredited
Professionals. The team members include Joseph Passkiewicz, Peter Helton and
Melissa Pass. LEED® Accredited Professionals are professionals in the industry
who have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and
principles, and familiarity with LEED® requirements, resources and processes,
according to the U.S. Green Building Council website.

Passkiewicz serves as
vice president of operations at LandSouth Construction and will utilize the LEED®
accreditation to develop and execute management programs regarding
construction operations, field technology and safety. Helton leads the Quality
Assurance and Warranty programs for LandSouth Construction and Pass serves as
director of estimating for the company.
Since the LEED®
Professional Accreditation program was launched in 2001, more than 75,000
professionals in the industry have received their certification. More
